Tom Hardin

Owner / Consultant

Tom's 25 plus years of experience with technology spans a wide range of educational, business, military and personal applications ranging from nuclear missiles to Excel spreadsheets to iPods to GPS mapping systems.

Tom's educational background includes a BS degree from Iowa State University with an emphasis in Finance & Computer Science.

Tom is also a Distinguished Naval Graduate from the United States Navy's Aviation Officer Candidate School.  He served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot and currently holds an FAA Commercial Pilot License and has held an FAA Certified Flight Instructor License.

Tom's business experience includes designing & coding the Instrumentation & Flight Safety System Software for the MX Missile (ICBM) while working as a software engineer for Martin Marietta Denver Aerospace Division (now Lockheed/Martin); installing hardware and software systems for multiple insurance & finance industry clients as a systems engineer for IBM; directing the design, development and support of commercial mortgage origination & servicing applications, and equity asset management systems for the real estate investment operations at The Principal Financial Group; and working as a member of the senior management team at Advanced Technologies Group - ATG is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner that develops, installs, and services a diversified suite of offender management applications for the Federal Bureau of Prison and several states' Department of Corrections.
